Tips for Language Learners: 1. During class time, give your learning full attention and participate actively. 2. Try to communicate in French as much as possible. 3. Organize and review your notes. 4. See errors as a learning tool and a natural part of language learning. 5. Set small attainable goals for yourself. 6. Expect to have moments of frustration. Learning a new language is difficult, and trying to communicate can be tedious. Be patient and try to focus on what you can do now that you couldn't do before, rather than dwelling on what you can't do yet. Remember that learning is progressive, and that progress is not always easy to see. Remind yourself that things will get clearer as you go along. 7. Reach out beyond the classroom. Enrich your language learning by exposing yourself to French music, websites, films, and books. You will improve your comprehension, increase your vocabulary and become familiar with the culture.
